God Is Always Backstage

Sometimes, I find myself having the roughest time getting things accomplished, or things seem to get done with little to no effort. Does this sometimes happen to you? Do you wonder why? I feel it is because God’s plan is to help us develop into stronger people both mentally and physically or maybe by protecting us by making us late by having us forget where we put our keys to keep us out of the big accident on the freeway. A lot of the stuff God does goes unnoticed in our lives because He does them discretely, backstage if you will.

I have come to accept that God has a plan, and He will see it through whether we want it or not but, He will not leave us to toil by ourselves. He will be there every step of the way. In the moment it can be frustrating, and we can get caught up in our own world and be bull headed and try to handle it ourselves. Give it to God, He will light the way. Afterward, I always take the time to look back and reflect, and I ask myself, “What did God intend for me to learn?’ or ‘What did God want me to gain from my experience?” Doing this has helped me gain some clarity (most of the time) on what I just went through.

Making sure that we take everything to God while we are experiencing something is a way to help us make it through any season. It is always important to include God because He is the reason we are there in the first place. So, the next time we are struggling with something or having the time of our lives, let's give God a part in it, as He is already there… backstage!
